Spring has Sprung at Haverty Hollow

Some of our Tuesday Morning Play Group gather buttercups for their parents and siblings.

Each Spring Haverty Hollow blooms into full color across the campus.  One of our favorite things is to let the fields grow and to watch the buttercups cover the grounds for a few weeks as the weather turns warm.  On days like today, our friends can play in the sun and enjoy nature and its full color.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

Every year, Miss Lisa’s friend, Miss Grace, comes to dye Easter eggs with the kids in the Afterschool Enrichment program at Haverty Hollow.

True to tradition, on Good Friday, Miss Grace appeared with tools and colors for the kids to spend an activity decorating and dyeing eggs to take home.  Afterwards they hid plastic eggs for each other on the playground and had Easter Egg Hunts for the rest of the afternoon.

The kids always have fun decorating eggs!
